MINEGOZIIBE ANISHINABE JORDAN’S PRINCIPLE
SUPERVISOR 1 FTE OFF-RESERVE SUB OFFICE (Winnipeg)

Reporting to the Jordan’s Principle Services Coordinator, the Supervisor will provide leadership and oversight that aligns with the practices of Minegoziibe Anishinabe’s vision and strategic plan. The Supervisor will run the day-to-day operations of the Winnipeg office and provide leadership to the staff working in the unit for Off- Reserve requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following list represents the significant duties and responsibilities and is illustrative, not exhaustive.
Manage day to day operations including but not limited to ensuring ongoing coverage of the Winnipeg office, monitoring incoming requests and referrals, assigning, and reviewing requests, responding to inquiries, process referrals, managing client files, capture program statistics and reporting for these duties.
Providing support services, and/or referral services; connecting individuals to services both on and off reserve and where appropriate, screened concerns will be directed to the most applicable service provider. Providing consultation, supervision, and evaluation to the Winnipeg Team. Monitoring work to ensure adherence to the Tribunal orders of Jordan’s Principle.
Keeping track of data, trends of services, and submitting reports on all Jordan’s Principle requests.
Work closely with the Jordan’s Principle Supervisor’s as a resource for
information, coordination of care, and administrative duties. Complete various projects as assigned.
Building and maintaining a positive work team; providing feedback on performance and identifying and fixing performance issues.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare/social services/nursing or education.
A minimum of 5 years of case management.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of case management procedures and practices to evaluate and coordinate delivery of services to First Nation Children. Knowledge of and appreciation for Indigenous ways, teaching and intergenerational impacts are essential.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
Current Criminal Records Check: Adult/Vulnerable/Child Registry Checks Willing to travel as required/and or requested.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
