SALARY: $70,818 - $92,081 per annum

DUTIES
To advance RRC Polytech’s strategic commitments to equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility and employee engagement, we are seeking a passionate and innovative Human Resources Program Consultant to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources Programs and Policies, and working closely with a team of Human Resource Program Consultants, you will be responsible for leading human resources program research, development, implementation and evaluation aligned with the College’s strategic commitments and priorities.

As a Human Resources Program Consultant, you will work closely with cross-functional working groups, project teams, leadership teams and other internal and external stakeholders to: assess organizational needs and identify program development opportunities; conduct research and provide strategic program development recommendations; lead the development, implementation and evaluation of human resources programs, initiatives and events; and conduct regular reviews of human resources programs to ensure alignment with leading practices, principles and legislation.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary education in human resources; diversity and inclusion; employee engagement; or, an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
  • Experience leading human resources program design and delivery focused on equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility and/or employee engagement programs
  • Knowledge of equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility and employee engagement leading practices and principles; and, related human resources legislation
  • Experience with event planning and coordination
  • Experience using project and change management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously; and, to lead project teams to collaboratively achieve results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working independently and demonstrating initiative and accountability for achieving results
  • Effective verbal communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, present information, facilitate inclusive discussions, and influence stakeholders at all levels within an organization
  • Effective written communication skills with experience preparing a variety of documents including briefing notes, project plans, reports, internal communications and slide decks
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Experience conducting research and data analysis; using data visualization tools to demonstrate progress and identify trends
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
 
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • This position may be required to travel
